Summit LA17 will be kicking off today in downtown Los Angeles–an event that truly uses new tech to better experience the vibrant, existing culture of the surrounding community.

Summit LA17, this year’s 3-day flagship event by the world-renowned, U.S.-based events and conferences organization Summit Series, will take place in the heart of downtown Los Angeles starting today, November 3rd until November 6th.

Considered as the 11th flagship event of Summit Series, the event will gather 3,500 leaders from across all disciplines for three days full of diverse programming and dynamically shared experiences.

Summit LA17 will showcase different intellectual discussions, art installations, music performances, culinary programs, and wellness activities associated with Los Angeles’ historical landscape as an immersive, walkable campus.

Summit will take over some of the city’s century-old theatres, grand hotels, and rooftops with activations rising throughout parks, medians, alleyways, and other intimate spaces. It will be three days full of diverse arrays of talks, wellness classes, gourmet food, performances, and other experiences designed to enhance relationships, build networks, collaborate, and inspire new perspectives.

Summit LA17: Speakers

Summit LA17 will bring together the some of the top influencers of our generation to grace the stage of the event. Among its over 100 speakers, the e-Commerce magnate Jeff Bezos is the most notable.

Bezos founded Amazon, the largest online shopping retailer, and is the company’s current Chairman and CEO. Aside from e-Commerce, Bezos is also involved with aerospace and news publication. He founded the aerospace manufacturer and spaceflight service company, Blue Origin, in 2000. In 2013, he purchased The Washington Post newspaper.

On July 27th of this year, Bezos briefly surpassed Bill Gates as Forbes world’s richest person with an estimated net worth of over $90 billion USD. However, he lost the title the following day after Amazon’s stock took a nosedive. On October 27th, Bezos was again able to surpass Gates on the Forbes list of world’s richest person.
